Development Begins Before Commercial Supply
OPUNÉ® is developing a pipeline of material concepts based on selected agricultural feedstocks. This portal allows qualified organisations to register their interest in potential future pilot material evaluation and provide early technical requirements relevant to their intended application.
Pre-registration does not reserve material or guarantee allocation. Any evaluation opportunity remains subject to material development status, technical feasibility, internal review, and separate written terms.
Early Material Consideration
Material development and product development often move on different timelines. Pre-registration allows potential application requirements to be identified before a material enters a formal evaluation stage.
Information provided by product teams may help OPUNÉ® understand potential application categories and technical parameters. Registration does not create an obligation for either party to proceed with development, testing, sampling, or commercial engagement.
From Registration to Potential Evaluation
A pre-registration is an initial expression of interest. Where a material reaches an appropriate stage for external evaluation and OPUNÉ® considers a submission relevant, further discussions may be initiated.
No pilot material, sample, prototype, or allocation is created through registration alone. Technical review, sample availability, and evaluation criteria remain strictly subject to internal assessment.
Technical Review
OPUNÉ® may review the intended application, requested material parameters, and estimated evaluation requirement. This review does not constitute technical approval.
Sample Evaluation
Where representative material becomes available, OPUNÉ® may determine the conditions under which samples can be provided under separate written terms.
Material Transfer Agreements
Where material is transferred, parties may require a formal MTA defining handling conditions, testing restrictions, and intellectual property limits.
Prototype Rights
Permission to incorporate evaluation material into prototypes must be separately defined. Registration does not grant manufacturing or IP rights.
Current Pipeline Feedstocks Open for Preliminary Interest
The following feedstocks are currently identified within OPUNÉ®'s pipeline for material development consideration. Their presence does not represent a guarantee of commercial availability, final formulation, performance specification, or development outcome.
Banana Pseudostem
Agricultural biomass derived from the structural portion of the banana plant.
Coconut Shell
A hard lignocellulosic agricultural by-product generated through coconut processing.
Coconut Coir
Natural fibre obtained from the fibrous outer layer of the coconut husk.
Cotton Stalk
Residual plant biomass generated after cotton cultivation.
Groundnut Shells
Agricultural residue generated during groundnut processing and dehulling.
Pipeline Does Not Mean Commercial Availability
Pipeline materials may exist at different stages of research, development, testing, or evaluation. A listed feedstock may not yet have an externally available material format, defined commercial specification, or confirmed production pathway.
OPUNÉ® may modify, defer, discontinue, or reprioritise material development activities without obligation. Registration of interest does not prevent OPUNÉ® from making independent decisions regarding material development priorities.
